Glenna R. Andersen, M.D.

Dr. Andersen is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Medicine and received her specialty training at the State University of New York Affiliated Hospitals in Buffalo. She was Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1987 and re-certified in February 1997. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Virginia Commonwealth University of Medicine. Dr. Andersen currently is the Second Vice President of INOVA Fairfax Medical Staff Executive Committee and will be President of the Medical Staff in 2016.


Darya B. Maanavi, M.D.

Dr. Maanavi is a graduate of Eastern Virginia Medical School and received her specialty training at the George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC. She was Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1993 and re-certified in February 2003. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the George Washington University School of Medicine, and Virginia Commonwealth University of Medicine.


Eleanor H. Yoon, M.D.

Dr. Yoon is a graduate of the University of Virginia Medical School and received her specialty training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. She was Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and Assistant Clinical Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University of Medicine.


Cindy A. Kinder, M.D.

Dr. Kinder is a graduate of Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and received her specialty training at the George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Kinder is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the George Washington University Medical Center and Virginia Commonwealth University of Medicine and is also a registered pharmacist.


RyaLynn Carter, M.D.

Dr. Carter is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State College of Medicine and received her specialty training at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She is a Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at George Washington University School of Medicine, and Virginia Commonwealth University of Medicine.


Barbara A. Moran, Ph.D., C.N.M.

Barbara Moran has her PhD in nursing from the University of Virginia. In addition, she is a certified Obstetrics and Gynecology Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife. Prior to joining us, she was the Perinatal Education Coordinator at INOVA Fairfax Hospital and currently is an Assistant Professor at Catholic University. She has numerous years of experience as a Maternal Health Nurse and Clinical Nurse Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology.


Carola Bruflat, M.S.N., W.H.N.P.

Carola Bruflat has her Master of Science in Nursing from Catholic University of America and a Post Master's Certificate as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Nursing. Additionally, she is nationally certified as a Women's Healthcare Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Corporation. Prior to joining us, she was at Georgetown University Hospital both as a Perinatal Center Staff Nurse and as a Nurse Practitioner in the Department of OB/Gyn Faculty Practice. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, and the Virginia council of Nurse Practitioners.
